Mazzoni Center Project Background
The branding and design of this shirt was part of an independent project for my summer internship course to benefit the Mazzoni Center in Philadelphia. The Mazzoni Center was founded in 1979 to provide support to the LGBTQ community during the AIDS epidemic. Today, they provide health and wellness services to the Philadelphia LGBTQ community. This was the first project that I was entirely responsible for from ideation to distribution.
Ideation
For this project, I asked my sister Clare to collaborate with me for the shirt graphic. I have alway loved her style of drawing and knew she would be a perfect fit based on how I envisioned the shirt looking. It was during the ideation process that we bounced ideas and sketches off each other to settle on the final graphic
2. Production
After reaching out to the Mazzoni Center for fundraiser approval, I decided to work with Camden Printworks to produce the shirts. I promoted the fundraiser via Instagram and took orders through the app.
3. Distribution
Once I was finished taking orders, shirts were produced and I started distributing them to customers.
4. Donation
With the help of my supporters, we were able to make a donation to the Mazzoni Center!
